- Patricia Yeo started as a souz chef at Mesa Grill, working for celebrity chef Bobby Flay.
- She was the winner of the James Beard Foundation award in 2002.
- Later, she opened critically acclaimed American restaurant AZ which received three stars from New York Magazine.
- Her eclectic fusion brought fame to the Manhatten restaurant Sapa where she worked as the executive chef until late 2005.
- She has released well-received cookbooks such as Cooking A to Z and Everyday Asian.
- She has a degree in biochemistry from Princeton University.
- Like many of the chefs on this list, Patricia Yeo also appeared as a challenger on the TV show Iron Chef going against Chef Morimoto.
